Wayside Cottage Burley

Wayside Cottage, an award winning BandB, is a wysteria-covered Edwardian cottage in the New Forest village of Burley, where Ponies, Donkeys and even Cattle wander down the streets, and the loudest sound is the bird song in the trees. Janet and John West have created the perfect haven for a relaxing weekend, or a longer stay. There are six rooms to let on a Bed and Breakfast basis, all rooms are en suite with either a shower room or bathroom. There are pretty gardens to sit in and a guest lounge for evenings or bad weather. Cycling, walking and horse riding opportunities are within 5 minutes walk. The village has several Pubs and Hotels, shops and all the usual amenities.

DIRECTIONSBurley is right in the middle of the New Forest. You can approach it locally from Lyndhurst, Brockenhurst, Lymington, New Milton, Christchurch and Ringwood. For those coming from further afield , the best approach is from the A31 between Ringwood and Southampton. Leave the A31 at the sign post for Services, and Burley, about 2 miles East of Ringwood.Follow the signs to Burley, through Burley Street. Directly opposite the drive to the Burley Manor Hotel on the left is an unmade up road. Turn into this (Garden Road, with an Estate Agents shop on corner) and we are 200 yards down on left.For those approaching from other directions, or who miss the first turning, make for the cross in the centre of the village. Here take the road to Bransgore and two hundred yards on the right, turn into Garden Road between the Garage and the Village Hall. We are 100 yards on the right hand side.
